Sludge Recovery System
a mobile, automatic and no‐man entry unit for tank cleaning.
ABOUT SLUDGE RECOVERY SYSTEM
and recovering up to the 98% of the hydrocarbon contained.
It operates in a closed loop, granting the maximum personnel safety and environment protection.
Sludge is crashed by special rotating nozzles (called “Jet Washers”) installed on the tank roof, that direct high-pressure jets on all the tank internal surfaces.
Mechanical: given by the 5/6 bars of the oil jet from the jet washers;
Chemical: given by the lower specific weight;
Physical: by heating the oil, viscosity is reduced.
The high percentage of hydrocarbon recovery allow the operators to enter the tank without any health risk, as no trace of hydrogen sulphide remains.
ADVANTAGES
Therefore: Even though automatic cleaning initially appears to be more expensive than the traditional method, the result, at the end of the operations, is a NET GAIN for the Client.
